When your Board Intelligence user account was set up, you will have received a welcome email containing log in credentials, including the unique organisation code name that relates to your organisation. This article will guide you through the log in process.
 

Logging in through the Board Intelligence app

We recommend that anyone using Board Intelligence to read their papers always uses our dedicated app due to it's rich functionality and security benefits.  The app is available on Windows, iOS or Mac.

Step 1: Install the app

  • Begin by ensuring you have downloaded and installed the Board Intelligence app on your device. For installation assistance, refer to our guide: Install Your Board Intelligence App.
     

Step 2: Complete the log in fields and log in

  • Launch the app and complete the following fields on the screen

  • Organisation: enter your organisation code name, using lowercase letters only, with no spaces

  • Email: enter your registered email address

  • Click continue

       

  • Password: enter the password you've previously created and click log in

Password reset: if you can't recall your password, click Reset password and follow the prompts to reset it.

If your organisation has approved the use of Biometric log in, you will be able to unlock your Board Intelligence app, on devices with Touch or Face ID using the device’s Touch ID or Face ID. You will need to be on the latest version of the app to take advantage of this feature. If you wish to discuss this please speak to your internal governance or admin team.

Logging in through a web browser

If you are involved in building or managing board packs or submitting papers via the briefing tool, you will need to log in through a web browser. You can also read packs from here if your organisation has set this up for you, but please bear in mind we always recommend using our (iOS, Mac and Windows) app to read your papers.

Step 1: Choose your browser

  • Google Chrome is our recommendation, but recent versions of Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari are also suitable.
     

Step 2: Access the log in screen

Step 3: Fill in the log in fields and log in 

Complete the two log in screens as follows:

  • Email: enter the email address associated with your account and click continue

  • Password: provide the password you've created for your account

  • After entering your login information, click the "Log in" button to gain access to your account.

  • If you've forgotten your password, use the Reset password link to initiate the password reset process.
